Our Daily Multi Plus is a premier supplement for dogs and cats featuring organic, whole food nutrition. This 3-supplements-in-1 formula was created in response to our clients’ requests to simplify their animal’s supplement regimen and is sure to exceed even the most demanding pet parent’s expectations! By providing just this one nutritional supplement to your dog or cat you will be supplying an amazing array of both important functional nutrients and amazing antiaging and antioxidant superfoods.

Our Daily Multi Plus is not your ordinary multivitamin found elsewhere. Instead, it is a highly researched formula developed to improve the health of dogs and cats and an integral part of many of our holistic pet health protocols. Did you ever notice that most vitamin formulas for dogs and cats are loaded with synthetic vitamins and isolated minerals? If you read the label you will notice that they are the very same ingredients that are included in most pet foods! Not only is this a complete waste just duplicating what is already in your pet's food, but it can also be dangerous and place an extra workload on organs like the liver and kidneys that have to metabolize these synthetic nutrients and excrete excesses.

Our Daily Multi Plus formula is special and unique because it is a Daily Multi...

Plus... our industry leading Enzyme and Probiotic Formula that helps dogs and cats digest their meals quickly and efficiently to take stress off digestive organs, like the pancreas, and obtain as much nutrition from meals as possible to support their body’s maintenance and repair needs while also improving the health of your pet's intestinal flora.

Plus... a special blend of 9 New Zealand glandulars that provide nutrients missing from the majority of our domestic animal’s diet, but are so important to the nutritional needs of wild canines and felines.

Plus...  an exceptional, highly researched assortment of organic, whole foods that are included to provide a wide range of vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and phytonutrients that aren't found in the average pet food or supplement relying on synthetic substitutes.

Before his Mom started using our Daily Multi Plus, Otis was never really enthused about his meals. Now he can hardly sit still. We find most dogs and cats love the Daily Multi Plus, we feel that this is because they instinctively know that this is very healthy for them and the addition of organic herbs and New Zealand glandulars probably doesn't hurt:) In the video watch Otis's excitement build as his Mom prepares his dinner!

Why Do We Use Whole Foods to Supplement Your Dog or Cat?

Whole foods are recognized by the body as nutrients making them easily metabolized. Isolated synthetic nutrients, on the other hand, are treated by the body more like medications. This means the body has a harder time utilizing them and the liver and kidneys have to work harder to "detoxify" the body and eliminate excesses. While the body is utilizing the majority of nutrients from whole foods, it is doing its best to make use of what it can from synthetic ingredients with much being lost in urine. For example, there are studies that show that natural vitamin E has twice the bioavailability of synthetic (1).

But that is not the only reason to supplement your dog or cat with natural, whole foods. Ingesting nutrients in whole food form is considered preferable because of the accompanying consumption of numerous other macro- and micronutrients and phytochemicals, which will provide additional health benefits. An example of this would be antioxidants found in whole foods that studies have shown to be helpful in disease prevention (2,3).

More concerning yet is an editorial co-authored by several doctors and professors that reports conventional supplements are ineffectual at best, and may even be harmful (4). While other studies show that the usual, synthetic-type multivitamin has little or no influence on common cancers and mortality (5).

Does this mean we see no reason to ever use a conventional supplement? No, of course not. However, we do believe that the primary reason to use synthetic nutrients is when nutrient deficiencies are present that can benefit from their use - and then usually only for the short term.

What Makes This Supplement So Special...

1). A Top-of-the-Line Digestive Formula

Daily Multi Plus includes our best selling digestive enzyme formula that features 13 specialized enzymes, 5 billion cfu per gram of 14 species of probiotics and a whole food prebiotic blend. No other digestive formula for dogs and cats even comes close to the effectiveness of this blend! It has positively influenced the lives of animals all over the country and we are very proud of it as a result. To learn more you can visit the Digestive Enzyme and Probiotic product page.

2). New Zealand Glandulars

We have used glandulars very effectively for numerous health challenges experienced by clients such as hypothyroidism, pancreatitis, kidney and liver issues and much more. They work by providing tissue that contains enzymes and nutrients similar to the matching organs and glands in your pet’s body. This helps support the health of these systems and provides extra nutrition to help support weak or imbalanced glands. Wild canines and felines depend on the organs and glands of their prey to meet their nutritional needs and without them they would surely suffer from effects of malnutrition. This formula contains 9 important glandulars that are obtained from grass fed, New Zealand animals and are freeze dried to protect the vital nutrients.

3). Organic, Whole Food Nutrients

We are whole food specialists and proponents. You just can’t replace the nutrients obtained from organic, whole foods with synthetic, isolated vitamin and mineral substitutes. Yet, synthetic substitutes are what are primarily found in pet foods and supplements today. The reason is obvious to most - they are cheap and have long shelf lives. Our Daily Multi Plus may cost a little more, but it is a world apart from the typical pet supplement and will provide the nutrition so important to the healthy aging and longevity of your animal companion. Some of our organic ingredients include...

Ginkgo Biloba - This herb has special benefits for helping to keep the brain and blood vessels healthy.

Hawthorn Berries - For a healthy, strong cardiovascular system.

Astragalus Root - Acts as an adaptogen to help your pet’s body cope with stress and maintain peak immune system function to reduce illness.

Barley Grass Juice Powder - A rich source of blood building chlorophyll. Also contains a wide variety of nutrients that include SOD, a powerful antioxidant enzyme.

What we don't use...
You may notice that our formula does not include less expensive ingredients like kelp and ground flax seed. There are important reasons for this. One is that too much kelp can effect the health of the thyroid gland and should not be consumed every day. And, since our oceans are so polluted, kelp can be very high in heavy metal contaminates like mercury. Concerning ground flax seed, the oils found in this ingredient are very delicate and after they are ground go rancid very quickly when exposed to oxygen. So, when you see this ingredient you can be fairly confident that the oils are rancid and when that is the case they become carcinogens when consumed. Both of these are inexpensive ingredients used quite often in the pet supplement market, just not by us.

USDA Organic Multinutrient Formula

Ginkgo Leaf in Dog Vitamin Supplement

Ginkgo Leaf - Substances called ginkgolides reduce platelet activating factor that is responsible for vasodilation (inner diameter of blood vessels) and platelet aggregation (sticky and clumping blood platelets). This helps to keep blood vessels healthy, increases blood flow and reduces the inflammatory response which benefits allergies, asthma, cerebral insufficiency, vertigo and tinnitus.

Hawthorn Berries in Dog Vitamin Supplement

Hawthorn Berries - Flavonoids help to improve coronary circulation by dilating coronary arteries bringing more oxygen and nutrition to the heart thereby tonifying this important organ and helping to reverse age-related degeneration.

Oatstraw in Dog Vitamin Supplement

Oatstraw - An excellent source of protein, fiber, B vitamins, vitamin E , calcium, magnesium, manganese and flavonoids that make it a popular nervous system tonic for nervous, depressed and debilitated animals.

Astragalus Root in Dog Vitamin Supplement

Astragalus Root - Astragalosides and other immune-modulating polysaccharides, beta-sitosterol, flavonoids and trace minerals, especially selenium, help to support specific and nonspecific immunity.

Ashwaghanda Root in Dog Vitamin Supplement

Ashwagandha Root - An Ayurvedic herb renowned as an adaptogen that helps the body adapt to stress while tonifying the major organ systems especially the thyroid and adrenal glands.

Nettle Leaf in Dog Vitamin Supplement

Nettle Leaf - A blood cleanser and builder that contains vitamins A, C, D and B complex; calcium, magnesium, beta carotene and chlorophyll.

Dandelion Leaf in Dog Vitamin Supplement

Dandelion Leaf - An excellent kidney tonic containing vitamins A , C and K; potassium, digestive bitters and flavonoids such as carotene-ß, carotene-a and lutein.

Alfalfa Leaf in Dog Vitamin Supplement

Alfalfa Leaf - Protein, vitamins A, B1, B12, C, D, E and K; trace minerals, chlorophyll and dietary fiber.

Burdock Root in Dog Vitamin Supplement

Burdock Root - A popular liver tonic that helps to clean and build the blood. Contains calcium, magnesium, a range of B vitamins, lignans and mucilage.

Chia Seeds in Dog Vitamin Supplement

Chia Seed - A good source of the B vitamins thiamine, niacin, riboflavin and folate; minerals like calcium, magnesium, manganese, iron and zinc; and the richest plant source of the omega 3 fatty acid alpha linolenic acid.

Broccoli Sprouts in Dog Vitamin Supplement

Broccoli Sprouts - We use certified organic, freeze-dried sprouts because this form retains its vitamin C content (more than strawberries) that is lost with other drying techniques that use heat. Broccoli sprouts have become very well known for their high content of the anti-cancer nutrient sulforaphane. Actually, these sprouts pack up to 100 times the amount of glucoraphanin (the precursor to sulforaphane) found in adult broccoli.

Barley Grass Juice in Dog Vitamin Supplement

Barley Grass Juice Powder - Not to be confused with ordinary barley grass powder! This plant is rich in protein and contains 20 amino acids, 12 vitamins and 13 minerals. It is also a great source of chlorophyll that helps to detoxify the liver, blood and gastrointestinal tract while chemically neutralizing toxins. Also contains:

  • Superoxide Dismutase (SOD)
  • P4D1 Enzyme
  • Glycosaminoglycans (GAGs

Superoxide Dismutase (SOD) - The aging process has been directly linked to decreasing amounts of SOD in our system. Increased amounts of SOD helps an animal's body to repair itself quicker and also acts as an anti-inflammatory.

P4D1 Enzyme - Has been found to do two things in the body. It is the first known substance to actually stimulate repair of DNA molecules. It is possible that disease cells can be repaired with P4D1 so that when they reproduce they will actually produce good cells. P4D1 has also been shown in laboratory tests to eat the protein sheath off a cancer cell so that the white blood cells can attack and destroy them.

Glycosaminoglycans (GAGs) - Nutrients that form an important component of the synovial fluid lubricant in joints, especially chondroitin sulfate which can be found in connective tissue, cartilage and tendons.

No Additives in Dog Vitamin Supplement

Provide one teaspoon (1 tsp) daily per 30 lbs. Divide equally between meals. Mix with a little water before adding to meal or when in food dish and then blend into food well. Use some special treat food if necessary (organic yogurt or unsweetened organic apple sauce work well) and contact us if more help is needed.

Important: Begin at 1/4 the suggested dosage if your pet has not taken similar supplements before. Increase to suggested dosage as your animal adjusts.

Storage: Store in refrigerator when received.

Serving suggestions are provided in the table below. Estimate serving as best you can and realize giving more will not hurt your dog or cat so err on the upside. Make it easy on yourself. For example, we have two dogs, Star is 40 lbs and she gets a little less than one teaspoon in each meal and Toby is a little over 60 lbs so he gets a rounded teaspoon in each meal - it doesn't have to be exact but a little more than less is better. If you feed more than two meals daily then the suggested daily serving should be divided into however many meals you feed daily.
