I have two small dogs, 7 and 9 years old. The 9 year old does have health issues, IBD and Lymphangiectasia. I would like to add this for general nutritional support (they are raw fed). Which formula would be my best bet? See more »
Biopreparation F2 is for general nutritional support, while the Biopreparation F3 is more concentrated and will have a stronger healing effect on the body. If your dogs do not have elevated blood pressure and your budget permits then the Biopreparation F3 would be my initial recommendation. If you are interested, we do have an IBD Supplement Package to support the health of your dog's digestive tract.

I had originally ordered for my dog, but was not aware this supplement could be used for humans and wanted to try it for myself. See more »
Biopreparation is the microalgae formulation for animals. People can take this supplement if they wish, it wouldn't be harmful, however, if you would like the people version of this supplement that would be Biosuperfood found here. These supplements are virtually identical to one another, with the only difference being that the Biopreparation formula is freeze-dried at a colder temperature. This processing, and attention to detail, achieves a finer powder to increase assimilation for the shorter digestive tract in animals like dogs and cats.

Is Taurine a part of your supplements? May I have your input on (extra) Taurine for cats? Thank you. See more »
Yes, there is taurine in our Daily Multi Plus. However, the amount of taurine will naturally supplement a proper diet, not act as the primary source of taurine. In commercial pet foods, synthetic taurine is added because much of the natural taurine is lost due to the high temperature and pressure used to make pet foods. Taurine is naturally found in animal proteins, but depending on the temperature used during cooking 50% or more can be lost. Taurine is also water soluble, so if meat is steamed or boiled more taurine will be lost compared with baking at a lower temperature. Cats will get plenty of natural taurine from a diet of raw meat and organs. If the food is gently cooked then about 50% of the taurine will still be available and you can use our Multi… See full answer »

Since the Internal Powder makes a wonderful organic, whole food multivitamin you can use a maintenance serving year round and increase the serving size when fleas are at their peak in your area. Alternatively, you can just use the Internal Powder during flea season starting two weeks or so ahead of time so it has a chance to build up in your pet's system.

The expiration date for the Sovereign Silver Hydrosol can be found on the bottom of the carton in which the bottle is contained. The date will be either stamped directly on the box or on a white sticker.

You can use the Sovereign Silver Hydrosol in a couple of different ways. You can use the dropper to place a few drops in your pet's ears three or four times daily. After you use the drops massage the ear canal to distribute the silver. Sometimes this bothers animals a little because placing fluid into the ears can feel a little weird, but it is necessary to get the silver to areas you can't reach and bacteria/yeast can be hiding deep in the ears. Next, use a cotton pad and/or Q-tips to clean out the folds and parts of the ears you an reach. A helpful supplement to include is our Systemic Enzymes. This supplement contains special enzymes that help to kill yeast and cleanse the system. Of course diet can play a role in yeasty ears as well as most of the… See full answer »

The cells salt recommended for teeth that are loose in their sockets is Calc Fluor #1. I would also suggest that you consider Calc Phos #2 as well to support the health of teeth. Provide one pellet of each cell salt daily away from food. *Please be aware that they are now making larger tablets that will be used in the future when these smaller pellets run out of stock. For those larger pellets the dosage would be one tablet every other day. Place the pellet in your dog's mouth and it will dissolve. Use until the situation is resolved and they are safe to give continuously if needed. There is no set time frame for which results are to be seen as all animals and situations vary. To support healthy teeth and gums I would also suggest our Gum Rescue formula that is… See full answer »

Ursodiol® is a medication with numerous ingredients that include corn starch, magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide and a capsule shell containing gelatin, titanium dioxide, D&C Red # 28, FD&C Blue # 1 and FD&C Red # 40. Several ingredients, such as artificial colors, you really don't want an animal to digest because they can be unhealthy. While Ursodiol® only provides one bile acid called ursodeoxycholic acid, our Ox Bile is a whole food supplement and provides the full complement of bile acids in a natural form without the added chemical ingredients. At the proper dosage there are no side effects and Ox Bile can help support a healthy liver similar to the medication. You may also wish to add in the Liver Tonic that will help the liver to gently detox… See full answer »
